Development

The mandate of the Planning Committee, consisting of 2 or more Community members and chaired by a member of the Board Executive, is to represent the community in a fair, balanced, and responsible manner on a variety of social, traffic and development issues in our neighborhoods.

We seek community input where appropriate on issues affecting the community and provide a voice for the community in negotiating with parties who propose developments in our area that may be of concern to residents.

Relevant materials on major traffic and building development proposals and issues will be posted in this Development section in purpose specific drop-down tabs, with the location(s) identified on a community map (where possible) for easy reference. Community residents are urged to check this website regularly for time critical development information, e.g. developer Open Houses, city deadlines for public comment on development proposals, etc. Planning information of a less critical nature will be posted below.
