Haralabakos Multi-Use 85th St
Application LOC2011-0008 proposes to re-zone the 5 acre parcel at the SE corner of 85th St SW and Old Banff Coach Road for a multi-use residential/retail/commercial development consisting of apartments, retail shops and offices. The Outline Plan of this proposed development would require an amendment to the East Springbank Area Structure Plan to permit slightly higher density than exists under the current ASP. The existing property is one of many parcels (about 120 acres) of (acreage) land in the general area bounded on the west by 85th St SW, OBCR to the north, and 77th St SW to the east and the existing Westpark development on the south.
Until such time that a Master Plan and ASP Amendment, if any, on these lands might be accepted and approved for our community, WSCR CA will not support the progression of this LOC2011-0008 application through the approvals process.
