RoyOp Westsprings

RoyOp Development Corporation is proposing a multi-use development on the NE corner of 85th St SW and 9th Ave SW that will add retail, commercial and multi-family residential units to the West Springs community core, all as contemplated in the East Springbank Area Structure Plan.  This development will add critical mass to the community core to help make West Springs a viable and vibrant sustainable community. The developer held an Open House on Nov 1 at the West Springs Free Methodist Church to obtain community input as part of the approvals process to finalize its development proposal and submit same to the City for a Development Permit in the near future. The development proposal, as it existed on Oct 18, 2010 is located here Dev Proposal. This proposal may evolve over time as input is received by the developer from both the public and City departments.

November 2011 Update: The developers have applied for development permits for both the multi-residential and commercial aspects of this development.  It is expected that the multi-residential components on the east part of the site next to Westpark will commence construction first since it is further along in the development permit process.
