SECOND ANNUAL STAMPEDE BREAKFAST JULY 9, 2011
Mark your calendars for the first Saturday of Stampede July 9, 2011 for the West Springs Cougar Ridge Community Association (WSCRCA) second annual Charity Stampede Breakfast.
Last year on the first Saturday of Stampede week, over 800 people enjoyed a Stampede Breakfast in the West Springs Village parking lot (85th St. & 9th Ave. SW). We raised almost $4,000 for the benefit of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and the recreation programs of the WSCRCA. Thanks to those who paid $5 for breakfast, which was donated 100% to charity. Special thanks to our sponsoring merchants who covered the event costs, provided prizes and gifts and many fun activities for the kids. With a live western band, a tasty and generous breakfast prepared by Fergus & Bix, a bottomless cup of Starbucks coffee, the Scotiabank jumpy tent, face painting, balloons, nail painting, hair beads, colouring contests, draws for dance camp, dental services, dog grooming, gift baskets and much more, there was something to entertain every member of the family.
So please put the date in your calendar – Saturday, July 9, 2011 – for you and your family to enjoy one of the best stampede breakfasts around, meet some neighbours, have lots of fun with your family and maybe even win some prizes. Guest will make a $5.00 donation for each breakfast, which includes entertainment, Live band, face painting, balloons, bouncers, and great prizes from the merchants of West Springs village
100% of the proceedsof all breakfasts purchased will be divided equally between the “Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and WSCR Sports and Recreation.
