Registration is now open for the “4 Week Fitness Mix with Laura Flood”.  The program includes a different fitness experience each week including:  HIIT, JOGA, Kettlebell Kickboxing and Yoga.

Date: Sundays May 6, May 13, June 3, and June 10
Please note there will be NO class on May 20 or May 27.

Time: 10:00 – 11:00AM

Location: Amica at Aspen Woods (Fitness Centre), 10 Aspenshire Drive SW

Price: $30.00 for all 4 weeks (50% discount).

Registration is required as drop-ins are not accepted.  Register Now.

Helpful tips:

Sign and bring the following waiver with you to the first class: WSCRCA Fitness Mix with Laura Flood Waiver.pdf

Arrive 10 minutes before your class time so we can check you in and sign the waivers, if needed.

Please wear comfortable clothes and bring indoor runners, mat, and water bottle.

Please review the descriptions below for specific items that you may want to bring to class (e.g. mat, weights).

Schedule of Classes:

Week 1 (May 6)– Bootcamp Circuit

Challenge yourself with this fast- paced, calorie-blasting workout which will combine weight training, interval training, cardio and more! Boot Camp is geared toward all fitness levels. Modifications are always offered for the beginner to the advanced.

Equipment needed – Depending on your fitness level, please bring weights of 8 lbs and up, if needed. There will be lighter weights provided

Week 2 (May 13) – JOGA for the Urban Athlete

JOGA is the discipline of yoga combined with the science and biomechanics of sport. Designed to change your game and earn your edge.

Each JOGA session: keeps you agile not fragile, transforms weaknesses into strengths, helps you sleep not stress

The best thing is we don’t care if you can’t touch your toes! It will bring out your inner athlete!

Equipment needed – mat

Week 3 (May 20 – Kettlebell Kickboxing)

Kettlebell Kickboxing combines the mobility, agility, and longevity principles of martial arts conditioning with the power, strength and versatility of Russian kettlebell training.

Kettlebell Kickboxing will work on your strength, cardio and mobility giving you the ultimate workout!

Week 4 (June 3) – Yoga Flow

A vinyasa flow class that links breath with movement. This is geared to all levels and we will offer modifications throughout the practice. You will develop strength, stamina, flexibility leading you to state of transformation and empowerment.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations will be considered up to April 28, 2018 (1 week before the program starts) and MUST be emailed to membership@wscr.ca or done online. If the spot can be filled by a waitlisted participant, then a refund will be provided. Refunds will not be provided for any cancellations after April 28, 2018.
