WSCRCA Stampede Breakfast 2015
The sun shone on the 2015 WSCRCA Charity Stampede Breakfast which served the most breakfasts in its six year history. Ticket sales generated $7,370 which equals 1,474 paid breakfasts served in less than three hours. With a $1,000 grant from Scotiabank and $500 from the West Springs Farm Homeowners’ Association the total donation to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation will be at least $9,000.
While the line-ups looked long, guests reported that it took about 15 – 20 minutes from the gate to the food during the peak hours.
Kids enjoyed the two jumpy tents, fire truck, balloons, face painting, hair braiding, manicures, bubble blowers, and so much more. Thank you to the local merchants who sponsored the event and the 60+ volunteers who helped set up, run the event, and clean up after.
If you missed it, perhaps you’ll catch us next year on July 9, 2016!
