      • U10 Girls: Practice sessions typically on Mondays & games typically on Wednesdays
      • U10 Boys: Practice sessions typically on Tuesdays & games typically on Thursdays
    • Regular season: May 26 – June 20

      • U10 Girls: Mondays & Wednesdays
      • U10 Boys: Tuesdays & Thursdays
    • Wrap-up tournament: June 21, 2025 (details to follow)
      • No practice prior to games in the wrap-up tournament.

Note: Games are scheduled by WHUHL and teams will schedule 30-minute pre-game practices/warm-up prior to games in both pre-season and regular season.

    • Teams play 7v7, which includes the goalkeeper. Positions will be introduced. Players will be rotated through different positions throughout the season.
    • Teams of 11-13 players depending on total numbers of U10 registrations and U10 evaluations (Note: U10 evaluations are provided for FUN and to add the experience of soccer. They are done to balance the teams. Attendance is strongly encourage, but all players will be able to participate in the season regardless of attendance at evaluations)
    • Teams will play with other associations in the West Hills United House League (WHUHL). This is a locally run grassroots league on the West side of the city that has a little more structure than our house league in U8. Each team will play approximately 50% of home games within our community and travel to the away teams for the rest. Most of the away teams are within 5 to 15 minutes from our community. The league is formally structured with scores, standings, and youth referees. It is still aimed at being a fun recreational, but competitive league style of soccer.
    • The WHUHL aims at having structured times for games:
      • Mon/Wed for Girls: 5:30 or 7:00 p.m. start for 1.5 hours with 30-minute practice and 60-minute games.
      • Tues/Thurs for Boys: 5:30 or 7:00 p.m. start for 1.5 hours with 30-minute practice and 60-minute games.
      • WHUHL could have two games on some nights. In anticipation of this and the 90-minute format, we have revised the start times to 5:30 p.m. to allow for a 6:00 p.m. game start. Practices will start at 7:00 p.m. for the second game, to allow for a 7:30 p.m. game start.
      • **Please note: WHUHL sets its own start times and uses TeamSnap
      • Final exact times will be determined when the season is setup. Each team could also have a 1.5-hour practice session flexible to meet the team’s time frames. Any additional practices are optional and decided at the team level.
    • WSCR home field location will be near the Waldorf school.
    • The WHUHL also has a year-end tournament (which is a lot of fun!).
