    Welcome to the West Springs Cougar Ridge Community Association’s Soccer League! Our primary objective is to get the community out, meet your neighbours and foster an environment for kids to have FUN and develop a love for sports! Many great childhood memories are made on the fields. If you have an interest in volunteering on the coordination side and/or getting more involved with your community, please reach out to us at soccer@wscr.ca. We would love to hear from you!

    The WSCRCA soccer program will be run in accordance with and adherence to the policies outlined in the Abuse Prevention Protocol.

    Key Dates

    • Early-Bird Registration: January 27, 2025 - February 28, 2025
    • Regular Registration: March 1, 2025 – March 23, 2025
    • U10 Evaluations: Girls – Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 6pm-7:30pm
    • U10 Evaluations: Boys - Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 7:30pm-9:00pm
    • U4/U6 Coaches Clinic: Friday, April 25, 2025 at 7pm-8pm
    • U8/U10 Coaches Clinic: Friday, April 25, 2025 at 8pm-9pm
    • Victoria Day: There will be games on the May long weekend for those who are in town. Team splitting can be adjusted to suit as required.
    • U4/U6/U8 and U10 WHU Year-End Tournament: Saturday, June 21, 2025

    The season will run from approximately Late April – June 21, 2025.

    • Start Dates (tentative):
      • U10 Girls: April 28, 2025
      • U10 Boys: April 29, 2025 
      • U8 Girls: April 30, 2025
      • U8 Boys: May 1, 2025
      • U4/U6: May 3, 2025
    • U10 Technical Training Sessions: (TBD - will be updated in TeamSnap during the season)

    Photo Days:

    • U4-U8: May 25, 2025
    • U10 Photo Day: May 27, 2025 (TENTATIVE)
    • Makeup Photos: May 27, 2025 (missed photos only – not for retakes)

    Soccer Registration

    Register early to get your preferred volunteer position as volunteering is a requirement of registration. Age groups may sell out at any time, and if an age group is full, players may be placed on a waitlist. 

    Please note that an active membership with the community association is mandatory to register.

    If you are not a member, sign up for a WSCR membership. Membership is $25 a year. 

    If you are already a member, register for WSCR SOCCER HERE 

    FREE registration is available for players whose parent volunteers to coach their age group. If you would like to coach your child’s team, please select the registration package: “soccer player AND coach”. A limited number of these registrations are available. 

    For families with multiple children in a single age group, please note that only one player is eligible for the free registration with a coach.
